Swim Where It’s Monitored (SWIM)

This page is updated using the most recent water quality testing results from the Alabama Department of Environmental Management, The City of Daphne, and Mobile Baykeeper’s own Swim Where It’s Monitored (SWIM) program.

The symbols on the map above reflect bacteriological samples taken by both Mobile Baykeeper, the Alabama Department of Public Health (ADPH), and the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM). Samples are tested for Enterococci, a bacteria which indicates presence of fecal matter.

A blue symbol indicates low bacteria levels < 104 MPN (most probable number) /100 mL (<235 MPN for Bohemian Park)

A red symbol indicates high bacteria levels > 104 MPN/100 mL (> 235 MPN for Bohemian Park)

Results in gray indicate no recent data (within the past 7 days) and therefore an unknown status
