Mobile Baykeeper’s success depends on broad community support with a committed membership and volunteer base. Our volunteers know these waterways and are well trained on how to protect them. They are our eyes and ears in the region, working side by side to respond to local environmental challenges.

June 9: Monthly Cleanup
Hey there volunteers! This A.V.E’S monthly cleanup is on Friday, June 9th 2023 on the East Causeway. We will meet at 3:00 p.m. and wrap up the cleanup around 5:30 p.m. Due to this cleanup being by a high traffic area, we recommend that children under 18 should not attend this cleanup. We will be meeting at 5901 Battleship Pkwy, Spanish Fort, AL 36527 in the empty lot besides Hooked by the Bay Bait Shop. We will have our table set up for sign in.
DIY Cleanups
Did you know that you can host your own cleanup and Mobile Baykeeper will provide the materials, including gloves, vests, and garbage bags? We’ll even promote your efforts on social media and help spread the word because cleanups are great way to safely socialize and make a difference.
