Help Eradicate the Apple Snail at Langan Park!
The Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and Mobile Baykeeper are working together the gather volunteers to work this Saturday, October 3rd at Langan Park to eradicate an invasive species, the Island Apple Snail. Snails have been spotted at Langan Park's pond and into Three Mile Creek and are known to destroy native vegetation. We are working to prevent their spread into the Mobile-Tensaw Delta. If you are able to help with this dirty work on Saturday, we are meeting at 8:30 a.m. in the parking lot by the bridge at the Boardwalk at Langan Park.
