Job Description:

 

Membership/Marketing/Outreach/PR Activities

  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of a Resource Guide for Public Speaking Engagements 

  • Interface with community groups/clubs/organizations, including arranging speaking engagements for the Executive Director.

  • Assist with update of website and social media.

  • Write articles for MOBILE BAYKEEPER publications.

  • Table various local festivals and events.

 Programs

  • Develop and maintain MOBILE BAYKEEPER partnerships including but not limited to Alabama Stormwater Partnership, Alabama Department of Environmental Management Reform Coalition, Save Mobile’s Waterfront.

  • Coordinate Muddy Water Watch Program including communicating with partners and volunteers, updating website, scheduling and conducting training sessions, etc.

  • Schedule and/or attend meetings, as MOBILE BAYKEEPER representative, for issues relative to active and potential programs.

  • Respond to Community Concerns as they arise and follow up.

 

Fundraising

  • Assist MOBILE BAYKEEPER team with Membership Development and Fundraising Activities.

 

Administration

  • Routine contact with public required.
  • Assist, as needed, with general office administration.

Selected candidates will be paid salary + travel expenses.

 

 

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Preferred in relative field of study

 

Relocation expenses will not be reimbursed.
